Summer Learn to Row: Adult Camps - starts July 15th & August 12th

Registration is now open for the Bermuda Rowing Association's Summer Learn To Row Programme for both juniors and adults, which starts on Monday, July 15th. There will be two-week Junior Camps starting on Monday, July 15th, running every two-weeks until September 6th. Camp is from 9am until noon, Monday through Friday. The camp is for ages 12 and upwards.  The four-week Adult Camps start on Mondays, July 15th and August 12th. These camps run 3 mornings per week from 6am until 8:15am. All equipment is supplied and you must be able to swim 100m wearing rowing kit and be reasonably fit.  All camps will meet at the Dinghy Club and row to White's Island.  The fee for the adult course is $395, which includes BRA membership, gym facilities and rowing until January 31st, 2020. The fee for Juniors is $300 per 2-week course.  Spaces on the courses are limited and payment secures your “crew” seat. Pickleball at Pomander Gate Tennis Club

Enjoy playing social doubles of Pickleball at Pomander Gate Tennis Club every Monday morning from May 22nd. From 9am until 11am each week, all levels are welcome to come and play this fast-growing sport.  Pickleball is a racquet sport played on a hard court the same size as a badminton court with wiffle style balls and hard paddles.  It is a round robin style event and when one game is finished anyone on the bench rotates in. Bermuda National Gallery: 2019 Art & Technology Lab Summer Camp - July 1st to August 30th

Registration is now open for the Bermuda National Gallery's 2019 Art & Technology Lab Summer Camp, running weekly from Monday, July 1st, until Friday, August 30th.   From 10am until 4pm, at the gallery on the second floor of City Hall, middle school students between the ages of 11 and 14 can join in their creative digital art-making summer camp programme. Morning Care (from 9am-10am) and After Care (from 4pm-5pm) are also available.  The cost per week is $150 for Members or $225 for non-members. Senior Mondays at Masterworks

Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art  in the Botanical Gardens has introduced Senior Mondays as a way of thanking the more mature members of our community. Destination Dockyard: Reggae Night - July 15th

Bonfires on the Beach

Snorkel Park invites you to cozy up to Bonfires on the Beach, every Monday and Wednesday night, starting on Monday, April 15th. Weekly from 7pm until midnight, you can attend this family-friendly event laced with island rhythms, dancing, limbo, conga lines, blazing fires, games, great food, tropical drinks, sand, surf, amazing Bermuda Sunsets and fun that never ends.  General Admission is $5 at the door, or free for toddlers (ages 4 and under).  Beach Chairs, Snorkelling and Water Sports gear will also be available to rent. Narcotics Anonymous (Open Meeting)

Narcotics Anonymous (NA) is a support group for addicts. The primary message of Narcotics Anonymous is that any addict can stop using drugs, lose the desire to use, and find a new and better way to live through applying the NA program in daily life. The name "Narcotics Anonymous" is not meant to imply a focus on any particular drug or group of drugs. The NA program makes no distinction between drugs (including alcohol). While NA meetings are held in various locations, NA is not affiliated in any way with any facility or other organization. Historical Reenactment & Walking Tour

You can step into history in the Royal Naval Dockyard on a Historical Re-enactment and Walking Tour, offered every Tuesday and Friday, starting April 16th.  Suitable for all ages, this interactive and educational experience will depict life in the Royal Naval Dockyard in the early 1800s. With a knowledgeable guide and actors (fully dressed in period costume), you will be transported to another time, while learning the historical aspects of breakwaters, fortifications, storehouses, workshops, barracks and much more. Bermuda National Gallery: 2019 Art & Technology Lab Summer Camp - July 1st to August 30th

Registration is now open for the Bermuda National Gallery's 2019 Art & Technology Lab Summer Camp, running weekly from Monday, July 1st, until Friday, August 30th.   From 10am until 4pm, at the gallery on the second floor of City Hall, middle school students between the ages of 11 and 14 can join in their creative digital art-making summer camp programme. Morning Care (from 9am-10am) and After Care (from 4pm-5pm) are also available.  The cost per week is $150 for Members or $225 for non-members. Bermuda National Gallery: 2019 Art & Technology Lab Summer Camp - July 1st to August 30th

Registration is now open for the Bermuda National Gallery's 2019 Art & Technology Lab Summer Camp, running weekly from Monday, July 1st, until Friday, August 30th.   From 10am until 4pm, at the gallery on the second floor of City Hall, middle school students between the ages of 11 and 14 can join in their creative digital art-making summer camp programme. Morning Care (from 9am-10am) and After Care (from 4pm-5pm) are also available.  The cost per week is $150 for Members or $225 for non-members. World Heritage Centre Art Exhibit: Bermuda Panoramas by Emile Antoine Verpilleux

The St. George's Foundation has a permanent exhibit of Bermuda landscape murals painted in the 1930's by Emile Antoine Verpilleux for the Anderson family of Ford Motor Company. These large paintings depict an era long ago and are not only of value as works of art, but are of historical and education interest.  These mural have been restored and are exhibited at The World Heritage Centre, St. George This exhibit will be ongoing until further notice. Bonfires on the Beach

Historical Reenactment & Walking Tour

You can step into history in the Royal Naval Dockyard on a Historical Re-enactment and Walking Tour, offered every Tuesday and Friday, starting April 16th.  Suitable for all ages, this interactive and educational experience will depict life in the Royal Naval Dockyard in the early 1800s. WEDCO's Living Arts Guided Walking Tour is back for another season starting on Thursday, April 18th.  Dockyard has inspired artistic expression since it was designed in the early 19th century. Bermuda National Gallery: 2019 Art & Technology Lab Summer Camp - July 1st to August 30th

Registration is now open for the Bermuda National Gallery's 2019 Art & Technology Lab Summer Camp, running weekly from Monday, July 1st, until Friday, August 30th.   From 10am until 4pm, at the gallery on the second floor of City Hall, middle school students between the ages of 11 and 14 can join in their creative digital art-making summer camp programme. Morning Care (from 9am-10am) and After Care (from 4pm-5pm) are also available.  The cost per week is $150 for Members or $225 for non-members. Tiki Beach Party

Bermuda National Gallery: 2019 Art & Technology Lab Summer Camp - July 1st to August 30th

Registration is now open for the Bermuda National Gallery's 2019 Art & Technology Lab Summer Camp, running weekly from Monday, July 1st, until Friday, August 30th.   From 10am until 4pm, at the gallery on the second floor of City Hall, middle school students between the ages of 11 and 14 can join in their creative digital art-making summer camp programme. Morning Care (from 9am-10am) and After Care (from 4pm-5pm) are also available.  The cost per week is $150 for Members or $225 for non-members. Mary Prince Legacy Bus Tour

Titan tours are offering a Mary Prince Legacy Bus Tour every Friday until August 26th, starting on July 5th, and on Wednesday, July 24th.  Mary Prince was the first enslaved black woman to give her narrative and publish her autobiography about the brutality of slavery, entitled ‘The History of Mary Prince’ which was published in 1831 and considered to be extremely significant because it was “instrumental in helping to dismantle slavery throughout The British Empire and its Overseas Territories, including Bermuda and the Caribbean.” In 2012 she was inducted as a Bermuda National Hero. Hamilton Princess Art Tour

The Hamilton Princess & Beach Club is proud to introduce, as part of its more than $90M renovation, a public art program throughout the lobby and public spaces in the hotel. The Hamilton Princess Art Tour will take place at 10am every Saturday. Contemporary works are juxtaposed against the historic architectural details and crown molding to enliven the space. World Heritage Centre Art Exhibit: Bermuda Panoramas by Emile Antoine Verpilleux

The St. George's Foundation has a permanent exhibit of Bermuda landscape murals painted in the 1930's by Emile Antoine Verpilleux for the Anderson family of Ford Motor Company. These large paintings depict an era long ago and are not only of value as works of art, but are of historical and education interest.  These mural have been restored and are exhibited at The World Heritage Centre, St. George This exhibit will be ongoing until further notice.
