Naturalists’ Year-End Slideshow is Focus of November14th Meeting

It has been an especially active year for the Burke Mountain Naturalists, and this slide presentation will give some of the highlights of our 30th year as a club. BMN president Ian McArthur will show photos from this year’s hikes, birding and botanizing outings, bat monitoring, community events, public nature walks and other BMN activities. In October 2019, BMN hosted the Fall Conference of BC Nature. We welcomed 160 naturalists from across the province to this successful 3-day event. The Thursday evening meeting is the perfect opportunity to learn more about BMN if you’ve recently joined and are not yet aware of all that the club does. It’s also a good time to sign up to participate in the 2019 Audubon Christmas Bird Count, held on Saturday January 4th. This event is free and open to all.
